I proposed music and song being initial expressions of creativity.

Questioned weather this was a virtue or effect of evolution.

Essentially I was thinking the act of song being a result of evolution of creative thought brought out via song.

Reasoning I believe vocal creativity would potentially have evolved sooner as verbal communication likely preceded written communication.
