They go to Google, to search for similar ideas.

If you are a serious and intelligent inventor, sooner or later you are going to hit a patent search. If you are serious you will and by the time you are capable of that, you have already at least vetted the possibility of your ideas existence already.

looking at an intelligent innovation engine, look at english language and quantify the frequency certain words do and do not appear within the same sentence or paragraph as the subject of the passage.

For example, noting the frequency of the word "coffee" in a sentence with the words "black hole" would typically end up on the low end.

But if you think of space and time in a particular way, the word coffee can be used in a unique way of describing some of the most complex ideas in the universe.
