I thought it important to make a note of what was discussed so not to let the ideas slide.

Todd : Ideas about MMORPG / GPS driven reality environment plus locale based cooperative missions?
I think that sums it up?

MotRod : Mobile phone app tied to movie times and seat optimization.
For phone state automation wouldn't require a large community, but for seat optimization thing wouldn't work without knowing all the other phones in the theater.

MotRod : I need to get a totally immersive visual / audio reality device built and refined at least once before things are pumped directly into our brain.
Ultimately I want full display on large full range of view googgles, (envision ski googles, posibly helmet sized).

My argument for ski goggles comes from experience with their comfort, style and size.
With a slightly bulkier form factor, hardware is easier to conceal.

Are flexible oled screens at that close range even possible? How / where do you focus your eye?

There are challenges to making vision in this way work at such a close range of projection to the eye, i think something using stereogram technology migyht help with that, I need optics references and simple training to know if possible. #FOLLOWUP

Once we can immerse visually we then want input options, like hand gestures or full on 3d rendered hands or some sort of UI.
Could possibly leverage Leap technology for hand input.

Once we get a hand in the environment to select stuff, then add Blender style 3d object or material generation.
Plug in libraries of objects submitted by crowd as templates. This starts to sound very 2nd life ish, but gaming and fantasy are an option, not a goal.

I can go on and on, but easiest to say possibilities are endless here.

Challenges are RnD for optics, power, sound, programming, hardware design, Input processing (phase 2?)
