Have phone unlock with your face, and every time it does it will also take picture the direction of your perspective with the front mounted camera.

Also check gps coordinates and date and time.

if possible get azimuth (?) as well? [edit: elevation angle, ..alll spherical coordinate information?]

It will give an accurate depiction of when you checked in on the internet.

create application that tries to synchronize all people across network to say hello world at the same time, or try and prompt for alternate input to signify all are online at same time. if you could synchronize all people to be looking at device at same time you would have a huge audience?
